Title - 'Only The Sky Knows'
Artist - Tyler Porch Band

For those not in the know, the Tyler Porch Band is a Blues and Rock Band from North Atlanta, Georgia. Formed in late February of 2013, Tyler Porch and drummer Joey Robertson came from a local band called Pretty Twisted. Having been musically repressed by playing cover songs all night, they wanted a way to express their Blues/Rock vibes. So now, along with guitar player Brad Kemp, the Tyler Porch Band gives them that chance.

Indeed, Tyler, only just an 18 year-old young man himself, like all good front men welcomed everyone into his band with open arms, set them up alongside him, and made them one of the fastest-rising power trios in the US. Porch's guitar riffing and vocal heights and depths is an incredible testament to someone so young, as he tears magnificently through these six tracks on this EP.

The fast funk guitar of 'Who I Am' is a brilliant way to kick this whole EP off, and it's backed by the distorted vocal patterns of the thunderous, 'Oh, Lady' and then the mid-tempo title track ballad, 'Only the Sky Knows.'

The fun pop bounce of 'Jess ' is along next, and is easily one of the best tracks on the EP. The funky blues, guitar twang of 'My Love' is another stand out bullet of a hit, with the entire EP (sadly) coming to a close with the six minute, 'Leftovers from Woodstock.'

As Tyler has proved on Only The Sky Knows, you don't need thousands of dollars worth of equipment and a huge studio production to create a good quality recording. You simply just need a trio of hardworking blues musicians, someone who knows what he's doing behind the recording/mixing desk, and a voice like a young Jonny Lang to succeed.
