Title - 'Here I'll Stand' [EP]
Artist - Jordan Hurwitz

Jordan Hurwitz, an American singer/songwriter born and raised in Redwood City, California, is about to unleash an incredible new EP. One that hits stores digitally and physically worldwide on June 23rd, 2015, Here I'll Stand features six (6) original songs written by Jordan and is produced and arranged by the legendary Narada Michael Walden (on his own label, Tarpan Records.)

Jordan released her first album of original songs, Infinity, at age just 16, and followed that with her EP, The New Me (produced by Marcus Barone) in 2014. Here on this brand new EP, her first (and hopefully not last) with Narada, Jordan has upped her game considerably.

The first track on this delightful EP is 'Get Free,' a track that takes you by surprise less than 50 seconds in, trust me! I mean, wow! One minute you're being lulled into the false sense of security that the track is a ballad, and then Jordan whacks one out the park by cranking up her vocals and becoming Taylor Swift!

As mentioned, Here I'll Stand is Hurwitz's third release, and by all accounts, her very own personal favorite also. Indeed, having now listened to the six (6) tracks a few times myself, I can see why. She has grown since the release of her debut, both emotionally and vocally, and the heights she is hitting with her voice must be exciting to her now also.

The storytelling continues on tracks such as 'Not Going Home, 'Simplicity,' 'So Very Small,' and finally both 'I'm Ready' and the title track itself, 'Here I'll Stand.' The latter is simply incredible. No other word sums it up any better. An uptempo ballad, it's a story of lessons learned, bridges burned, and Jordan lives and breathes the song quite like no other on this EP.

Jordan, who will be attending University of Miami’s Frost School of Music beginning in the Fall of 2015, is so apt at creating musical visions to back her every lyric that it's hard not to imagine her standing proudly alongside the aforementioned Taylor Swift at an awards ceremony one day.

Each one of the six (6) tracks on this delightful EP contain personal, one imagines heartfelt messages; such as staying true to yourself, finding your inner strength when all hope is seemingly lost, and putting things in perspective when the bigger picture isn't quite clear enough to see. Each track comes in its own musical genre style also, such as: ballad, dance music, powerful pop, and combined with the empowering lyrics, it's a forgone conclusion that Jordan Hurwitz will be a radio play darling sooner, rather than later.
