Title - 'Live Via Satellite' [2CD]
Artist - John Wetton
Live Via Satellite is an astounding two CD live archive release form the rock icon, John Wetton. Showcasing Asia and King Crimson lead vocalist John Wetton at his musical and lyrical finest, he covers over 29 tracks, across two live CDs, and across two different countries, some of his most favored, critically beloved tracks of his down through the years.
All done with his highly distinctive voice at the helm, this double album of live material collects together a pair of of Wetton's acoustic solo concerts for radio broadcasts from back in the day. The 2001 XM radio broadcast was an official website only title over 10 years ago and has never had a commercial release. The 1998 Swedish radio broadcast (previously unreleased) was thought lost in a fire, until a duplicate of the master tapes was found; thanks to a long and tireless search by Wetton's fans!
As a singer, bassist and songwriter, Wetton initially rose to fame as the lead singer of King Crimson and thereafter Wetton formed UK with Eddie Jobson and later he was the lead singer for the supergroup Asia, his biggest commercial success. On Live Via Satellite, Wetton takes his love for his work, his own orchestrations, and brings them to life; one sumptuous flashback chord at a time.

Having recently put out a live album recorded back in 2013, the decidedly varying degrees of success entity, New York Minute (albeit recorded with The Les Paul Trio at the infamous Iridium in New York), these 1998 and 2002 recordings still harbor those legendary vocals that we all know and love.
