Title - 'Duell der Brüder: Die Geschichte von Adidas ...'
Artist - Frederik Wiedmann

For those not in the know, Frederik Wiedmann scored his first feature 'Return to House on Haunted Hill' (2007) for Dark Castle Entertainment, directed by Victor Garcia. He soon became known in the horror genre and hence composed the score for several other films such as the cult film 'The Hills Run Red' (Directed by Dave Parker), 'Hellraiser: Revelation', 'Hostel Part III', and 'Mirrors II'.

Most recently, Wiedmann worked with director Sean McNamara (Soul Surfer, Spare Parts) on the epic Civil War drama Field of 'Lost Shoes' (starring Jason Isaacs and David Arquette), and scored Paul Schrader’s latest feature 'Dying of the Light' (starring Nicolas Cage and Anton Yelchin). He’s also the composer for Disney’s new hit show Miles from Tomorrowland, as well as Dreamworks Animations’ Madagascar spinoff All Hail King Julien.

Here on 'Duell der Brüder - Die Geschichte von Adidas und Puma' (Die Original musik aus dem RTL Event Movie), Frederik Wiedmann's incredible 30 tracks are a wondrous layout for a show that was visual stunning to begin with. Having aired on March 25th on RTL, the show tells the true tale - set in the 1920's - of two brothers, Adolf and Rudolf Dassler, who start manufacturing sport shoes.

Adolf is a talented craftsman and his dream is that one day all the best sportsmen in the world will wear his shoes. Rudolf on the other hand is the economical brain of their business, handling sales and marketing. After World War II, they continue producing shoes but the relationship between the two brothers starts to deteriorate.

Both of them claim the company to be theirs, leading to an ever growing rivalry. A rivalry still existing today, represented by two of the most popular sports brands in history.
