Title - 'Guitars for Wounded Warriors'
Artist - Brian Tarquin & Heavy Friends

From veteran multi-Emmy Award winning producer/composer Brian Tarquin comes this very special project featuring an incredible cast of musical virtuosos playing their hearts out for America's fallen soldiers!

The screaming 'Black Hawk' featuring Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big) kicks-off this album in fantastic style, and the man himself has also talked about his contribution: "The cause it supports is supremely important to me and I’m honored to contribute to our brave soldiers in any way possible. Glad to be involved in this wonderful project!”

Next up is more melodic (at times) 'Taliban Terror' featuring both Bumblefoot and Rob Beach (Whitesnake) which is backed by both 'Charlie Surfs' featuring Chris Poland (Megadeth) and 'Klicks To Hell' featuring Gary Hoey. My goodness can this man lay down some serious licks!

Tarquin's guitar prowess is really brought to the fore on 'Surgical Strike, which also features The Flyin' Ryan Brothers. The incredible cast of musical virtuoso's continues onwards with Chris Poland on the soaring 'Hunting' and then Gary Hoey gives us a powerhaus 'Baghdad.'

But it's the absolutely blistering guitar work from Alex De Rosso on 'Broken Arrow' that leads the pack here on this incredible album; for my money, anyway. It is simply sensational and speeds along like a fast train about to derail at every given bend on the track. Next up is the beautiful 'Sand & Blood' featuring Hal Lindes (Dire Straits), and the album is brought to a close with both 'Escape Kabul' featuring Chuck Loeb and then finally, a very thoughtful, poetic 'Freedom' featuring Steve Morse.
