Title - 'Big Bang'
Artist - Alan Simon

If you have never heard the name Alan Simon before, allow me to bring you up to date. Simon is a French folk-rock musician and composer, best known for his rock operas performed with noted rock musicians guesting.

Indeed, Simon is associated with Breton Celticism, and his most ambitious works are typically on themes linked to Celtic myth and history; although Simon has also now branched out into film-making.

Released this past March 23rd, 2018, via Babaika Productions, Big Bang is Simon's epic musical interpretation of the creation of the universe.

The orchestral rock album features 14 new studio tracks featuring special guests Alan Stivell, John Helliwell of Supertramp, Michael Sadler of Saga and Roberto Tiranti of Labyrinth.

1. 'Prologue of the First Day'
2. 'Chaos'
3. 'Alpha Centauri'
4. 'Seven Moons in the Sky'
5. 'Interstellar'
6. 'Solarius'
7. 'The Soul of the Stars'
8. 'Starlight'
9. 'Moon'
10. 'Andromeda'
11. 'Space Time'
12. 'The Journey'
13. 'Fools'
14. 'The Waltz of the Universe'

In collaboration with NASA and its amazing sound bank from the universe, and amazing 120 musicians participated in this musical odyssey that invites the listener back to the origins of the universe and to the destiny of planet Earth.

On average, 200 active tracks per title were required for its production by Alan Simon and Marco Canepa where folk, rock, jazz and world musicians contributed to this wondrous, and highly expansive effort.

Moreover, this stunning, and unparalleled new album is now the soundtrack of the city of space in Toulouse (in France), with an event concert already being planned for 2019 in this theme park of the universe.

The CD is embellished with a booklet including original photos supplied by NASA and quotes from the visionary explorers of the universe.
