Kicking off in some loud fine style with 'Detroit Rock City,' the album is a pure, unadulterated rock gem. Once those guitars light up and the drums kick in, well, all bets are off for a quiet evening in!

Snider's Stanley "impression" is nearly spot on and together with the harmonious backing vocals the cut is damn close to the original. Lukather's guitar sears under Shaw's vocals on 'Love Gun,' whilst Slaughter's usual brand of outlandish vocals crush 'Cold Gin' perfectly.

As a guitar weans its way in, suddenly Jericho's very own Stanley "impression" comes to the fore and if you shut your eyes, well, 'King Of The Night Time World' is KISS! Winger and Gilbert's raucous beauty 'I Want You' is pure dynamite and is backed seamlessly by Kulick's guitar work, Appice's drums, and Osbourne's dark, throaty vocals on the stand out track of the album, 'God Of Thunder.'

A deep, slightly fuzzy guitar leads us then into a quietly low key 'Calling Dr. Love (Hamilton, Porcaro), with the drumtastic 'Shout It Out Loud' featuring the one, the only, Lemmy Kilmister on vocals; making you realize just how much you miss the guy.

A spot on 'Parasite' from Pinnick, with Kulick blaring his way across the guitar sections is up next and that's followed by a fun version of 'Strutter.' Lewis' vocals may well be a wee bit too shallow for the song, but both Clarke and Pilson bring the song home nicely.

The album then wraps up with and all-star cast on 'Stole Your Love.' McAuley's '80s vocals are always great to hear, the wild guitar work of C.C. Deville as nuts as ever, and then the brilliant Dunbar smacking the skins makes it yet another well crafted cut.
