Title - ‘Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ (Interscope)
Artist - 50 Cent
If you are thinking about buying this album based on the songs you have heard on the radio, you may be disappointed, because there is nothing as catchy as "wanksta" and "In da club" on here. While "21 Questions," if released as a single, will definitely keep 50's momentum going on the radio, the harder tracks on here are average at best. "Backdown" and "If I Cant" being two of the better ones. Trying to compare this to Tupac or Biggies work is crazy. Not even close. As far as debuts go Jay-Z's debut album (Reasonable Doubt) blows this out of the water, never mind the Biggie and Pac masterpieces!! Come to think of it our lil’ white kid from Detroit (who produced and rhymes on a couple of the tracks – like the strong "Patiently Waiting" - comes much closer to being cut from the same cloth as a Big and Pac!
