Title - 'The Mission Field' (RED GENERAL)
Artist - Blessid Union Of Souls

I was really intrigued when I heard this album was coming out, and that the band was going to start focusing on Christian music. I'm a fan of Blessid Union of Souls, and it always seemed like they could do Christian music if they wanted to, but I wasn't sure whether or not it would work if they decided to make the leap.

I mean, this was the band that had seven top forty hits, three top tens, including their unforgettable number one smash 'I Believe' - which, incidently and to this day, lead singer/songwriter Eliot Sloan believes was a gift from God.

Anyway, after listening to the album I have to say I am so glad they did! I loooove their new music! I'm not gonna crow too much about it, but it's safe to say that I now cannot get these wonderful songs out of my mind!

It seems that teaming up with members of the original management team, the move to the Contemporary Christian market has been seamless. The lyrics are so profound and I feel like I can relate to every song.
