Title - Sequences
Artist - Green Labyrinth

For those unaware, the word progressive can be also be termed as both developed or evolved and thus the Swiss band GREEN LABYRINTH takes this to heart, and ventures further into the depths of progressive metal with their new line-up, all without forgetting their symphonic roots.

With nine brand new songs, the band demonstrates their entire musical and lyrical spectrum on the brand new album Sequences (due out June 23rd, 2023 via Fastball).

Starting with the epic eight-minute opener Dreamland to the darkly pounding Haunted, to the atmospheric and solemn album finale of The End, they all represent the impassioned energy of their previously-released singles, all now incorporating sophisticated and exciting new arrangements; all of which are perfectly suited for the voice of singer Seraine.

1. Dreamland
2. Haunted
3. Limited
4. The Art Of Betrayal
5. Trapped Soul
6. Brave The Storm
7. Enemy
8. Meaning Of Life
9. The End

The new recording opens with a piece inspired by the stories and poems of Edgar A. Poe and H. P. Lovecraft, the atmospherically ethereal rock of Dreamland and the thunderous Haunted and then brings forth the synth/guitar rocker Limited, the melodic The Art Of Betrayal, and then we get the rhythmic head banger Trapped Soul.

Along next is the veritably operatic Brave The Storm and that is in turn followed nicely by the euphoric power ballad Enemy, the album rounding out on the rocking Meaning Of Life, coming to a close on my own personal favorite from this new set, the scintillating synth-pop-rock of the soaring The End.
