On what is a vibrantly impassioned, excellently crafted new recording, the first track we are privileged to hear is the energetically melodic Crash This Gate and that is backed by a gently rousing, pipes and piano-led, mid-tempo love song It’s You I Love About It, an aching yearn then lilts through Birdhouse, and then comes the low slung, Celtic folk of Love Corporation, the upbeat folk-rock of Ten Million and then the laid back, soulfully dulcet The Once-and-Future Human Race is brought forth.

Next up we get the languishing beauty within One Pull Nearer the Shore and the sweeping I Can Believe, and they are in turn followed by the catchy rhythms within Used to Be White, the Celtic pipe-driven love ballad My Specialty, the album rounding out on the resounding Fall to You, closing on the rousing, drum-led, veritable prog-rocker Twenty Seconds.
