This magnificently joyous, upbeat and just plain ol’ fun new recording opens on the gently rambunctious Riding in the Buggy/Tideo and a harmonica-driven She’ll Be Comin’ Round the Mountain, and then we get the laid low Mrs. Murphy’s Chowder, the fiddle-tastic Headin’ On Down To the Barn, the smoldering jazz balladry of Give Me the Simple Life, the playful Grandpa’s Farm, and then we get brought forth the jaunty fun within Tennessee Wig Walk.

Up next is he banjo-fueled Birthday Hallelujah and the atmospherically-charged Mairzy Doats, which are followed by the incredibly characterized Legendary Chicken Fairy, the infectiously catchy sing-along I Had An Old Coat, then some old school country vibes are up next within Riding Along (Singing A Cowboy Song), the pace picked up for the perky Little Liza Jane, the countrified bounce of Grandma’s Feather Bed, the finger-snapper Get the Rhythm, before we listen to the mournful harmonica balladry of I Don’t Want To Live On the Moon.

The next chapter opens with a beautifully tender live version of Old Texas and a feisty, fiddle-driven Such A Gettin’ Upstairs/Old John Rabbit, and they are followed seamlessly by the beautiful Home On the Range, a spirited Hippity Hop, a Gospel-tinged Rattlin’ Bog, another live track Apple Picker’s Reel, the recording rounding out on the informative You Can’t Make A Turtle Come Out, the quietly dutiful You Made Me A Pallet On The Floor, closing on the languishing hipsway found within Hey Dum Diddeley Dum and their big hit, the short, but sweet Skinnamarink.

Sharon, Lois & Bram have been actively recording music and entertaining families for 45 years. Ranked as one of TV Guide’s Top 10 programs, the trio’s hit television series, The Elephant Show (Nickelodeon, CBC, YTV, Global) and Skinnamarink TV (TLC, CBC, Treehouse TV) aired in U.S. homes for 15 consecutive years.

As one of the Top 20 highest grossing tours in the 90s, Sharon, Lois & Bram have performed at Lincoln Center, Broadway’s Palace Theater, The White House, Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall and every major concert hall in Canada. The trio also made frequent appearances on “Live with Regis and Kathie Lee,” “Good Morning America” and “CBS This Morning.”

Following the release of A Little Bit Country, Sharon, Lois & Bram’s third children’s book, Peanut Butter & Jelly, will be released on August 29th, 2023. They are already two-time bestselling authors for Skinnamarink (2019) and One Elephant Went Out to Play (2022). Both books are part of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in Canada.
