Title - Midnight Daydream
Artist - Midnight Daydream
The writer, producer, engineer and main performer on the album is Riley Cameron, son of the late guitarist Bruce Cameron, who tragically passed away in 1999 shortly after releasing his debut album, Midnight Daydream.
An album that featured a plethora of rock legends, now inspired by his fathers work, Riley found that the only viable option was to carry on the musical legacy that his father left behind.
Riley’s self-titled new album Midnight Daydream (out July 5th, 2023) is a blend of hard rock, electronic, hip-hop and various other musical styles that creates a modern sound that captures a spectrum of influences.
1. Welcome
2. Losing Faith
3. Street Soldier
4. The Light
5. No Place To Hide
6. Inevitable
7. The Farms
8. Greatest Story Ever
9. Forever
This, at times bruisingly techno-hued, at others electronically-soulful, at others rock driven new recording opens on the translucently fluctuating Welcome and the rap-rock of Losing Faith and they are followed by the psych-hued Street Soldier and the Choir-imbibed rocker The Light.
Along next is the rambunctious electro-synth rock-hued No Place To Hide and the frenetic guitar rocker Inevitable and they are in turn backed by the melodic rock of The Farms, the album rounding out on the trippy ballad found within Greatest Story Ever, closing on the rock opera balladry akin to Evanesance, Forever.
