Title - 'NOW That's What I Call Country 5' (Ume)
Artist - Various
NOW That's What I Call Country 5 is the fifth "ultimate" Country collection from EMI, and contains 18 of Country's (currently) biggest hits.
With artists such as Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban and more, it kicks off with Tobey Keith's party song 'Red Solo Cup,' before heading into 'Drink In My Hand' (Eric Church), 'I Don't Want This Night To End' (Luke Bruyan), and both the sweet storytelling of 'Alone With You' (Jake Owen) and the guitar twang of 'God Gave Me You' from Blake Shelton.
A countrified version of Lionel Richie's infamous major ballad hit 'Hello' is followed by the mid-tempo ballad 'Just A Kiss' from Lady Antebellum, and then the deep 'Crazy Girl' form Eli Young Band. The storytelling of 'Sparks Fly' (Taylor Swift) is then backed by 'Baggage Claim' (Miranda Lambert) and 'Banjo' from Rascal Flatts.
Keith Urban's mega hit 'You Gonna Fly' is then backed by the sedate 'All Your Life' (The Band Perry), the Southern aspects of 'Old Alabama' (Brad Paisley), and then 'Country Must Be Country Wide' from Brantley Gilbert. The album then rounds out with 'Let It Rain' (David Nail), 'You' (Chris Young) and then 'Home' from Dierks Bentley.
