Overview: Andy Lau is out for blood ... literally. Terrorists have shot two people: their target was a Tibetan religious leader but they also wounded the girlfriend of Bee (Lau - God of Gamblers).

Since both victims share the same rare blood group, Bee joins the cops (headed by Alan Tam - Armour of God) racing to find a donor. But those terrorists haven’t finished yet!

Blu-ray Verdict: A terrorist group called The Red Army want the Daka Lama dead, and they’ll do anything to kill him. As he enters the airport in Singapore he is shot down, but at the same time a man and his girlfriend are there, and she gets hit too.

They live, but need extensive operations to do so. The only problem is they both have a rare blood type and they need the rare blood to have the operations. To make matters worse, only a few people have this rare blood type in the area so the Police and the woman’s boyfriend go looking for the people with the rare blood, hoping (along the way) to save the Daka Lama and the woman.

But the terrorists know this as well and are planning on killing the people with the rare blood type as a way to kill the Daka Lama! Are you still with me? OK, then I shall continue. The Police must get at least one of the people to the hospital to save the lives of the Lama and the woman, but with the terrorists hell bent on killing the Daka Lama, it will be almost impossible to reach the hospital in time. Can they save the day and the lives of two innocent people or will the terrorists get what they want?

The Last Blood (aka Hard Boiled II) is such a wonderfully action-packed movie from start to finish. It was mighty fine crazy, but I loved every moment of it. Constantly screaming out at the more tight action scenes, man, if you want to sit back and lose yourself in a good old-fashioned action movie tonight, this is the one for you.

The stunts are insanely awesome and the movie contains a fantastic car chase that is worth the price of admission alone! It also throws in some comedy along the way, which was rather nice, though some word of caution for non-regular viewers of Hong Kong action movies: it is truly violent when it needs to be.
