4K Blu-ray Verdict: For all intents and purposes, All Ladies Do It is nothing more - to the casual observer - as softcore trash from a master of titillation. Indeed, most everyone would say that director Tinto Brass is a man obsessed, and yes, I would agree with that also, but he also brings forth some rather high-class slices of erotica that not only turns both male and female heads accordingly, but sews within the cinematic fabric a strong moral tale.

A portal to cater to mankind’s most base obsessions, sure, of course it is, but that’s quite okay as it’s about a woman’s desire, rather than focusing on a man’s, which is still to this day something that isn’t all that delved into on screen, of course.

Shot, for the most part, via the male gaze throughout, and with barely a scene going by that doesn’t focus on the female figure in some respect, what Brass does it have you focus on the delightful female figure, whilst at the same time allowing the plot, acting and, at times, even the dialogue to be, well, third rate and a little hammy at times.

And with an obvious lack of concrete narrative, it can sure make the film, as an entity, a hard watch, but lest we forget that, and overall, All Ladies Do It is funny, interesting, well shot, even at times thought provoking, and importantly of all, yup, lead actress Claudia Coll is oh-so very good in that role of hers.
