Country music star Chris Cagle’s top chart hits and other standout album tracks have been collected for Best Of Chris Cagle, to be released February 9 by Capitol Nashville/EMI. The new CD and digital title is Cagle’s first hits collection, with 15 tracks spanning his four albums released between 2000 and 2008, including five Top 10 Billboard Country chart hits.

Since his 2000 album debut with gold-certified Play It Loud, Chris Cagle’s southern rock-inspired country style has earned him great acclaim and chart success. Around the world, sales of his albums have exceeded three million copies, and in the U.S., he has topped Billboard’s Country Albums chart twice, with his gold-certified 2001 self-titled album and with his latest release, 2008’s My Life’s Been A Country Song.

Five of Cagle’s songs have achieved Top 10 status on Billboard’s Country Singles chart, including his #1 smash “I Breathe In, I Breathe Out” and #8 “Laredo,” both from his debut album, his #4 “What A Beautiful Day” and #5 “Chicks Dig It” from Chris Cagle, and the #3 “What Kinda Gone” from his most recent album. Best Of Chris Cagle presents all of these hits together for the first time, along with 10 other standout tracks.
