Win 'A Very British Gangster' on DVD ... NOW!

'A VERY BRITISH GANGSTER' goes inside one of Britain's most dangerous crime organizations, the Noonans, a family based in the grimy industrial city of Manchester, England. Headed by Dominic Noonan, the gang of contemporary criminals opened their lives to director MacIntyre and his film crew, revealing a brutal underclass world that relies upon gangsters for social justice, a community struggling with poverty, violence and drugs.

Over a period of three years, the film follows the legal tangles and personal tribulations of Noonan --- an out-of-the-closet gay thug --- as he lurches from criminal trial to criminal trial. Some of the most poignant scenes are with Noonan’s young son, Bugsy, who expresses admiration for his father yet is torn about entering a life of crime himself. But Noonan is a sociopath with a sense of humor. To the consternation of court officials, he legally changed his last name to Lattlay Fottfoy, an acronym for his family’s motto: "Look after those that look after you, f**k off those that f**k off you."

And, while in solitary confinement, he orchestrated an April Fool's Day "glue down," a super-glue assault on the prison locks in detention centers throughout the U.K. that forced the government to refit the locks in Britain’s penal institutions at a cost of millions of dollars.

Director MacIntyre provides a close-up view of a world embroiled in kidnapping, torture, narcotics and murder --- all headed by the Fagin-like character Dominic Noonan, leading a band of young men and boys, artful dodgers all, into his world of crime.

So, if you would like to win one of these new DVDs, then just answer this easy question: Desmond Noonan and the Noonan family first rose to notoriety in the Manchester gang scene after the murder of Tony Johnson; but what was Johnson's nickname at the time?!

Send us your answer and if you're correct you'll be in the running to win one of these new DVDs! Just send us an e:mail here before November 1st with your answer and the subject title CONTEST: A VERY BRITISH GANGSTER DVDs to: exclusivemagazine@flash.net
