Win the Brand New ALL HOURS CD ... Today!

All Hours wants to make it all right for swaggering, melodic rock and roll bands to hail from Hollywood again. These renaissance men are reminding the world that catchy hooks and soothing harmonies can come from a sophisticated rock band with something to say. One listen to their deliciously catchy debut CD IN FLAGRANTE DELICTO (due out 03/22) proves that All Hours aren’t your typical SoCal boys.

Formed by LA native and main songwriter Gilly Leads – a self-proclaimed “Broadway Brat” – All Hours mines a lost musical territory that makes equal use of aching piano ballads, sumptuous torch songs and rollicking guitar rave-ups. Originally known as The Midnight Radio (a nod to the closing number in Hedwig and the Angry Inch), Leads drafted midwestern bassist Dean Moore to begin a lengthy process of pounding out songs in a dilapidated rehearsal space.

Along with original guitarist Eli Probst, the trio relentlessly cut demo after demo of elegantly raw basement tracks. It was the new spawn of un-produced and perfectly imperfect naked rock that eventually severed them from the humdrum of the LA music scene, and caught the ear of drummer Nick Burns to saddle up behind the skins. Probst (who plays guitar throughout In Flagrante Delicto) departed in late 2004 to make way for the Israeli-born Amit Leeron.

Cut to 2005, All Hours find themselves taking on the new challenge of showing the world what the City of Angels has known for the past few years: that these twelve killer tracks – not to mention the scores of songs waiting patiently in Leads’ compositional queue – make up some of the most authentic and uniquely twisted rock and roll Hollywood has produced in years. Who says? The CMJ Music Marathoners got it last year in New York City. The tastemakers who saw the band tackle Lou Reed’s “TRANSFORMER” in its entirety definitely got it at a recent Echo Park fundraiser. And now early word has it that college radio gets it, too - All Hours debuted as the sixth most-added band in CMJ’s weekly report.

If you would like to win your own copy of this great new CD, just answer this easy question: Which Silver Lake hipster king co-produced and largely inspired the track "Box Office Stud"?!
