To matriculate at a fancy boarding school, Viola Johnson (Amanda Bynes) disguises herself as her twin brother, Sebastian (Kirk). She thought he's be gone from school while trying to breaking into London's music scene.

Meanwhile, Viola, disguised as a guy, falls for Sebastian's roommate, Duke (Tatum), who's got the hots for Olivia (Ramsey). Unfortunately, Olivia is in love with Sebastian.

Inspired by William Shakespeare's play "Twelfth Night," the contemporary comedy was directed by Andy Fickman (Showtime's "Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical") and produced by Lauren Shuler Donner (the "X-Men" franchise) and Ewan Leslie. The screenplay is by Ewan Leslie and Karen McCullah Lutz & Kirsten Smith (both "Ella Enchanted," "Legally Blonde") from a story by Leslie.
