Title - Here To Eternity [Nick Manarino]
Artist - Collective Soul

Collective Soul is collecting a lot of music for their next record, trust me!

The “Shine” rockers have announced a new double album called Here to Eternity. The 20-track effort will arrive on May 17th, 2024 and will help celebrate Collective Soul’s 30th anniversary.

“As a kid determined that rock n’ roll was my life, I dreamed of making a double album, well here you go!” says vocalist Ed Roland. “Here to Eternity recorded at Elvis’ estate in Palm Springs, [California]. Wow, Wow, and Wow. 20 songs that truly show the personality of this band and our musical journey!”

“This recording is not the pinnacle of the band, but it’s the best one yet!” Roland adds. “Shouldn’t we all feel the next day as our best? Well enjoy our best till the next one.”

Here to Eternity is the follow-up to 2022’s Vibrating and Collective Soul will launch a U.S. tour with Hootie & the Blowfish and Edwin McCain in May 2024.

This captivating collection of tracks opens on the propulsive Mother’s Love and the free flowing Bluer Than So Blue, and then comes the impassioned Let It Flow, the expressive Not the Same, and then we get the Americana folk-imbibed live cut Bob Dylan (Where Are You Today), the foot-tapping rocker Hey Man, the raunchy rock of Kick It, the blues-veined Matter of Fact, and then come both the melodic Sister and Mary and the piano ballad Be the One.

With a unique blend of hard rock and melodic metal, along next explosive Keep It on Track and the free wheeling Who Loves, and they are in turn backed by the languishing, countrified La Dee Da, the all-encompassing, pleasant rock that drives Bring on the Day, the swashy, gently psych-tinged Words Away, and then we get the euphoric No Man’s Land, the aching yearn found within Letter from E, the collection rounding out on the strident I Know You, You Know Me, the guitar-fed Therapy”, closing on the veritably translucent Over and Out.
