For those not in the know, Voodoo Moonshine, a “bluesy groove rock band”, currently from Florida/Georgia was formed in Memphis, TN in 2003 by lead guitarist, Jeff Losawyer.

The debut album, Decade of Decay, was released in March 2005, and was well received throughout Europe and so a tour was booked, including shows in England, Ireland, and Scotland.

Indeed, due to the album’s success they were voted “Number One Band” seven times in England, and six times in Japan and in mid-2005, Voodoo Moonshine was introduced in Dublin, Ireland and quickly became one of the top three requested bands there.

Voodoo Moonshine has now signed a label deal with Dark Star Records and have just released their brand new album Bottom of the Barrel, which is available at all retailers worldwide as well as all digital stores on 02/04/22.

This vibrantly authentic, and seriously rockin’ new album opens on the air raid sirens of battle together with a musical salute to our nation before launching into the rocker LOCKED AND LOADED and then backs that up with the thunderous GIVE IT TO ME, the statically-charged BRING IT DOWN, the metal balladry of ROUND AND ROUND and then we get the stutteringly Extreme-esque SOMETIMES YOU JUST WANNA.

Up next is the countrified, Bon Jovi-esque WHAT A WAY TO GO which is in turn backed by the rhythmically drum-led beauty SWALLOW MY PRIDE and then we get more rock balladry in the form of EDEN IN YOUR EYES, the album rounding out on the pounding rock of RISE FREE and the laid back and bluesy atmosphere of the mid-tempo Y’ALL COME BACK SOON, coming to a close on the acoustically-imbed EDEN IN YOUR EYES (Acoustic Version).
