For those unaware, for Valentine’s Day, 7D Media is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of Tu-Ner for Lovers, a new CD from the ensemble of Pat Mastelotto, Markus Reuter, and Trey Gunn.

Scheduled for release on May 3rd, 2024, this album is a prelude to the much-anticipated US Tu-Ner tour in May.

Tu-Ner for Lovers is taken from their live shows in 2023. It weaves together an immersive audioscape that blends the churning rhythms of Mastelotto, the dripping touch guitar layers of Reuter, and the seductive Warr Guitar of Gunn.

Tu-Ner is touch guitarist Markus Reuter, alongside the powerhouse rhythm section from the renowned 2000’s lineup of King Crimson: Pat Mastelotto on drums and Trey Gunn on Warr guitar.

With intricate and layered compositions, Tu-Ner steer their craft into uncharted territories of audio exploration.

This brand new recording opens on the hauntingly ethereal The Last Barbie Tango and the industrially-curated Six Inches Tall and they are in turn backed by the atmospherically-strewn The White Thing, the veritably goth-shimmering A Nightingale Sang In Our Tornado, the regimented Attack Of The Puppet People, before we are then given the fluctuating Triangle Of Love and the sonically-hued, drummed ambiance of In A Sacrificial Mood.

Along next is the stoically-imbued You Returned For Me and the effervescent Cardboard Rendezvous and then we are brought forth the robotically-industrial They Call Him Threnody, the cinematic scope found within Transistor Valentine, the shimmering I Put A Crush On You, the album rounding out on the all-embracing sounds that pulsate and harmonize throughout the mannificent Combat And Courtship.
