Title - Bad Apple
Artist - Tay Bronson
For those not in the know, singer-songwriter Tay Bronson, known for his traditional country sound coupled with wit, humor, and observations of the human experience, has announced his sophomore album, Bad Apple, will be released on Friday, August 16th, 2024.
It’s been four years since Drinks & Memories with Bronson, his 2020 debut solo country album. With Bad Apple, the country singer-songwriter, with his band “The Tackle Box”, takes a more lighthearted approach to his relatable and infectious songwriting.
“The thought here is, don’t take yourself too seriously,” shares Bronson who has been actively creating music since 1991. “There’s always going to be someone more clever, funnier or prettier.”

This wondrously enigmatic new recording opens on the melodic title track Bad Apple and the gently rambunctious Never Saw It Comin’ and then we are brought forth the rhythmic hipsway of Kitchen Table, the swinging rock of Hole in My Pocket, and then comes the low slung balladry of my own personal favorite, Might Just Think Again.
Up next is the dutiful ballad Sometimes which is in turn backed seamlessly by the upbeat fun of Drunk Shopping, the charmingly impassioned Thanks Thanksgiving, the album rounding out on the meaningful Trips Around the Sun, closing on the warming foot-tapper When I See You Again.
