Title - 'Seven Year Itch'
Artist - The 69 Cats

For those unaware, the explosive second full-length album from the gothic-themed rockabilly project formed by The 69 Eyes front man Jyrki 69 and rockabilly guitar legend & Headcat Danny B. Harvey, The 69 Cats will release their pulsating new album Seven Year Itch this coming April 16th, 2021 via Cleopatra Records.

Joining the Cats for this go round is longtime drummer of The Damned, Rat Scabies, and Nekromantix founder Kim Nekroman and from start to finish, these 12 tracks warmly take you by the throat and lovingly shake you about!

1. 'She’s Hot'
2. 'Hollywood’s Bleeding'
3. '(You’re) The Kind Of Girl I Need'
4. 'Good Time To Die'
5. 'Graveyard Blues'
6. 'Hey World' [feat. Sky Saxon]
7. '(Let’s Go) Psycho'
8. 'Vampire Shuffle'
9. 'Teddy Boy Boogie'
10. 'The Hell Of The Mountain King'
11. 'I’m Evil'
12. 'It Ain’t Enough' [feat. Larry Wallis]

Opening with the foot-tappin, distinctive baritone voice of Jyrki 69 on 'She’s Hot' and the lighter fare of their cover of Post Malone’s 'Hollywood’s Bleeding' (which was released in October of last year to rave reviews), we next get the rhythmic '(You’re) The Kind Of Girl I Need,' the blues rock of 'Good Time To Die,' the guitar pop hop of 'Graveyard Blues,' and then the all-out rocker 'Hey World' (featuring the late Sky Saxon on vocals).

The pure rockabilly-imbued '(Let’s Go) Psycho' (which is actually a song written with Australian Psychobilly / Rockabilly artist Brigitte Handley back in 2000, and still features her on background vocals) is one of my own stand out cuts here and is backed by some old school rock 'n' roll vibes within both 'Vampire Shuffle' and 'Teddy Boy Boogie,' and then we get the surf rock appeal of 'The Hell Of The Mountain King,' with this vibrantly delicious album rounding out on the mid-tempo shuffle of 'I’m Evil,' closing on the gently frenetic 'It Ain’t Enough' (featuring Larry Wallis from the Pink Fairies, and an early member of Motörhead).

Seven Year Itch is available on digipak CD as well as a deluxe gatefold jacket housing PINK vinyl!
