Title - 'Diorama’ (Atlantic)
Artist - Silverchair
So far, Diorama, Silverchair's fourth album has by far been the best Silverchair album released! They have come a long way since Frogstomp and deserve the remaining success that a 1995 grunge album led them to. Such ballads as ’Across the Night,’ ‘Tuna in the Brine,’ and ’Without You’ really expose the talent and ingredient for music that Silverchair has been hiding beneath their nails for so long. Their previous albums (Frogstomp, Freak Show, and Neon Ballroom) were all very good, especially the highly-underrated Neon Ballroom, but Diorama has been the best so far! I have been a huge fan since 1995 and I will continue to be one. Silverchair is the type of band that you want to listen to forever. Each song and album are different and therefore they give you a wide variety of different types of music such as grungy rock, punk, acoustic, and even orchestral emotions.
