Title - 'Happy Birthday'
Artist - Sneaks

For those unaware, like a piece of art with as many interpretations as people who view it, Sneaks’ music is kaleidoscopic, completely unique to the listener.

Continuing the collaborative relationships from 2019’s Highway Hypnosis with mixing engineer Carlos Hernandez and legendary producer Jacknife Lee, on her brand new album Happy Birthday (out August 21st, 2020 via Merge Records), Sneaks’ Eva Moolchan felt free to turn up the energy and explore more elaborate melodies than ever before.

With astrological assertions alongside poetry filtered through a riot grrl spirit and set to thumping bass lines and infectious beats, Moolchan asks all of the questions, but invites the listener to divine their own answers.

So put on your headphones and let Washington, DC's Sneaks lead you on an unforgettable journey of self-discovery that will keep you humming for days.

1. 'Do You Want to Go Out Tonight' (2:23)
2. 'Faith' (2:38)
3. 'Mars in Virgo' (1:53)
4. 'Sanity' (5:59)
5. 'Scorpio on Your Side' (1:53)
6. 'Slightly Sophisticated' (3:19)
7. 'This World' (3:34)
8. 'Winter Weather' (2:10)
9. 'You’ve Got a Lot of Issues' (3:10)

Opening with the infectious dancefloor beats of 'Do You Want to Go Out Tonight,' that's backed by the funky bass line grooves of 'Faith,' the gently frenetic hip-trip vibe of 'Mars in Virgo,' and then the frantically cultured beats of the longest track, the near 6 minute 'Sanity.'

Up next is a jaunty electronic slide into 'Scorpio on Your Side' which is followed by the frantically melodic spit-balling of 'Slightly Sophisticated,' the one-two, early '80s pop synth sounds of 'This World,' and then rounds out with the low slung rap of 'Winter Weather,' closing on the mid-tempo, and captivatingly free flowing 'You’ve Got a Lot of Issues.'
