Title - Shining On: Pink Floyd Tribute Collection
Artist - Various
For those wondering, Shining On: Pink Floyd Tribute Collection is a super star-studded 3CD set featuring three of the Prog Rock titans most popular tribute albums and housing them in a clamshell box for the first time.
Each of these celebrations of Pink Floyd’s immortal music features a who’s-who, all-star Rock-royalty cast of globally respected recording artists from Todd Rundgren to Rat Scabies and from Rick Wakeman to Bootsy Collins.
Oh, and if you have no idea who Pink Floyd are, well, they are an English rock band formed in London in 1965. Gaining an early following as one of the first British psychedelic groups, they were distinguished by their extended compositions, sonic experiments, philosophical lyrics, and elaborate live performances, and became a leading progressive rock band.
The rest, as they say, is musical history!
