If you have not been aware of this incredible new CD, well, the only excuse I can give you is that it is an import from the UK. Other than that, you should own this CD if you are a fan of King Crimson, but of classic, well-played, incredibly detailed prog rock also, of course.

John Wetton and District 97 have just released One More Red Night: Live in Chicago, a live King Crimson covers album. The collaboration brings together former Crimson front man John Wetton (ASIA) on lead vocals for the US band in their native Chicago recorded last year.

Former King Crimson lead singer boomingly Wetton brings us three songs from the iconic landmark album, Red along with several other well-known songs from the three King Crimson studio albums that Wetton played and sang on. Also included late in the set is an incredible, busting-out-the-gate earlier hit for them, '21st Century Schizoid Man.'

District 97's drummer and also the albums producer, Jonathan Schang has ensured that Wetton's voice of old comes through crystal clear and highly reminiscent of those fruitful days of yore. Buy it now as this is the first release of this recording and features many tracks which are now rarely heard live.

Brought to us by a Kickstarter campaign, which aims to cover the costs of making their third studio album, signed copies were also available as one of the pledge offerings, back when this project was first launched.
