Title - 'Echoes In My Head'
Artist - Julie Gribble

It must come extremely naturally to Ms. Gribble all this singer-songwriting stuff for this new album is yet another fine example of inspired lyrics combined with an alternative rock twist. Most all the songs on this CD grab you instantly in some form or another. Whether it be the opening chords of 'The Feeling' or the early Indigo Girls-sounding 'The Old Way,' you can feel your spirit being musically enveloped as each track passes on by. In fact just closing your eyes and allowing the music to sweep across you, you can picture Ms. Gribble with her guitar in hand and a smile on her face. The ballads are insightful, the overall musicianship a rare treat, each storytelling accompanied by a unique verbal styling. I guess Ms. Gribble could be termed as an Indie musician, but after one listen to this you'll wonder why she hasn't hit mainstream radio; or been lauded in the hearts of mainstream America. For, in much the same way as Natalie Merchant found more attention for her work, Ms. Gribble is definitely riding the same rails, destination Global Success.
