Title - 'Hits' (Geffen Records)
Artist - New Found Glory

Since 1997, New Found Glory has delivered brilliant punk power pop. Angst fueled by jangly guitars. And they delivered on the only way a self-respecting punk band would: on singles and EPs. NFG's first-ever greatest hits collection, chronicling the band's best-loved singles, album cuts and a couple of rare gems, "Constant Static" (previously available as a Japanese album bonus cut) and "Situations" (not commercially available, only streamed on Warped Tour website for a one-month period).

Like many compilation albums, beginning with the track “Hit Or Miss (Waited Too Long),” the songs are in order by album release, making it uncomplicated to dissect the pros and cons of the changes in style and sound the band has made over the years. For those of you not savvy concerning the New Found Glory discography: have no fear. The order goes New Found Glory-Sticks and Stones-Catalyst-Coming Home. Make some sort of mnemonic device; you’ll be quizzed on this later!

Anyway, these guys have been at it for over a decade (it doesn't seem possible!) with a solid sound and a sense of humor about themselves (just look at some of the songs they've covered over the years and you'll know what I mean). This collection includes a couple of items that, up till now, haven't been widely available. I hope these guys are around for a long time to come ... all the best and more. Thanks guys!
