Title - 'Shaun the Sheep Movie' (Silva Screen Records)
Artist - Ilan Eshkeri

'Shaun the Sheep Movie' is a brand new British stop-motion animated comedy film produced by Aardman Animations, based on the Shaun the Sheep television series, which itself is a spin-off from the Aardman series Wallace and Gromit which introduced the character of Shaun.

When Shaun decides to take the day off and have some fun, he gets a little more action than he bargained for. A mix up with the Farmer, a caravan and a very steep hill lead them all to the Big City and it's up to Shaun and the flock to return everyone safely to the green grass of home.

With original tracks composed by Ilan Eshkeri ('Layer Cake,' 'Kick-Ass,' 'Still Alice' and 'Black Sea'), this 26 track album is also chock full of some guest stars too. There are songs from Tim Wheeler (Ash), Eliza Doolittle and even Rizzle Kicks, who themselves provide a remix of 'Life's A Treat,' the ever popular Shaun the Sheep TV theme.

Eshkeri has been writing for film for over 15 years now and his resume is beyond impressive, as noted above. Recent TV work includes The Snowman And The Snowbird and David Attenborough's Natural History Museum Alive. The way his compositions encircle the other tracks not created by him is a true work of art also. For they don't stop the flow in the slightest once the star has done their part, so to speak. each of Eshkiri's tracks are just perfect for the quirkiness shown by our hero, Shaun, and definitely allow the entire soundtrack to bounce along at a fair pace.watch out for it anyway ... see what I did there ... no, oh well, please yourselves!
