Title - 'Ash vs.The Evil Dead'
Artist - Joseph LoDuca

In a complete masterstroke of a TV idea, 'Ash vs.The Evil Dead' has Bruce Campbell reprising his 'Evil Dead' film role as chainsaw-handed monster fighter Ash Williams on the new Starz TV show. And, luckily for us, the score of it is done by none other than Joseph LoDuca ('The Librarians') - who composed the score for the original 1981 and 1987 classic 'Evil Dead' films!

Containing 22 tracks, one thing that needs to be brought forth immediately in this review is that this is not a soundtrack where songs are sung, music is blared at a tuneful, Top 40 pacing. These are all background tracks, much like a score would be, but that doesn't, in any way shape or form, take away from the musical power that LoDuca brings to the TV show, trust me.

Indeed, LoDuca's 'Ash vs.The Evil Dead' is very well, well-crafted, and highly entertaining to the ears. I mean, just sitting back to review it here in the office, you cannot help but stop what you are doing to imagine just what was going on in the TV series at that every point that the track caught your imagination - which is nearly all the bloody time!
