Title - 'Full Circle'
Artist - Loretta Lynn

As I'm sure you all know by now, Loretta Lynn is a multiple gold album American country music singer-songwriter whose work spans almost 60 years. She has received numerous awards and other accolades for her groundbreaking role in country music, including awards from both the Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music as a duet partner and individual artist. She remains the most awarded female country recording artist.

Full Circle is the first new studio album in over ten years from American music icon Loretta Lynn. Produced by Patsy Lynn Russell and John Carter Cash, and recorded at the Cash Cabin Studio in Hendersonville, Tennessee, Full Circle takes listeners on a journey through Loretta's musical story, from the Appalachian folk songs and gospel music she learned as a child, to new interpretations of her classic hits and country standards, to songs newly-written for the project.

1. 'Whispering Sea Introduction'
2. 'Whispering Sea'
3. 'Secret Love'
4. 'Who's Gonna Miss Me?'
5. 'Black Jack David'
6. 'Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven'
7. 'Always On My Mind'
8. 'Wine Into Water'
9. 'In The Pines'
10. 'Band Of gold'
11. 'Fist City'
12. 'I Never Will Marry'
13. 'Everything It Takes' (featuring Elvis Costello)
14. 'Lay Me Down' (featuring Willie Nelson)

In truth, Lynn's voice is just as good as it's always been. She doesn't show any signs of age in her voice at all. Only now she's recording on modern high tech equipment that captures her voice accurately rather than on the equipment that was available in 1963 when she started recording! So she ends up actually sounding BETTER on this album than she did early in her career. That's pretty awesome for a 83 year old!

All the tracks are great, pure unadulterated Lynn, but it's her duets at the end of the album with Elvis Costello and Willie Nelson that, for me at least, bring the album home perfectly. Especially "Lay Me Down" with Willie Nelson. I mean talk about two iconic country music all-stars coming together on just the perfect song for them to sing.

Drawing inspiration from personal memories and deep connections to American music, Lynn's 13 new recordings capture the essence of these songs in intimate new performances. Indeed, the album is Volume One of the Cash Cabin recordings, a series of new album projects imagined and created at the storied Cash Cabin Studio.
