I can't describe in words what this record does for me. I don't think I have listened to it withoout crying yet. And I have listened to it about ten times. Life is painful. And beautiful. And tragic. And funny. Mindy's music helps us to make sense out of all of this. We are on a suspended ball in the middle of the universe. The ball travels at aboout 67,000 miles an hour, all while spinning in a different direction at about 1,ooo miles per hour.

There are more beetles than there are humans. And yet we know that we are special somehow. So we paint, we sing, we stretch bronze across a hole in a wood box and it makes us feel something. We should be so thankful.
