Title - 'Ramagehead'
Artist - O.R.k

For those not already aware, O.R.k., comprising some of contemporary music’s most revered artists, have combined their creative forces once again for a new studio album.

Their first for the ground-breaking UK label Kscope, O.R.k’s Ramagehead will be released on 22nd February, 2019.

The band feature Italy’s celebrated vocalist, producer and award-winning film score composer Lorenzo Esposito Fornasari a.k.a LEF (lead vocals), King Crimson‘s Pat Mastelotto (drums), Porcupine Tree‘s Colin Edwin (bass), Marta Sui Tubi‘s Carmelo Pipitone (guitars).

The new album Ramagehead also features a superstar collaboration in the form of Grammy Award-winner Serj Tankian of System of a Down, who is undoubtedly one of metal’s greatest and most renowned vocalists.

1. 'Kneel to Nothing'
2. 'Signals Erased'
3. 'Beyond Sight'
4. 'Black Blooms'
5. 'Time Corroded'
6. 'Down the Road'
7. 'Some Other Rainbow (Part One)'
8. 'Strangled Words'
9. 'Some Other Rainbow (Part Two)'

Beginning with what sounds like spoken words recorded and played backwards, the melodic, multi-layered brilliance of 'Kneel to Nothing' is backed seamlessly by both the poundingly-atmospheric 'Signals Erased' and the gentle Eastern-vibed ballad 'Beyond Sight.'

Up next is the aforementioned collaboration with Serj Tankian of System of a Down, the stoic 'Black Blooms,' which in turn is followed by the reflective 'Time Corroded' and the inner yearning of 'Down the Road.'

LEF's vocal abilities are truly put to the test on the achingly heartfelt, albeit short 'Some Other Rainbow (Part One),' with the upbeat hip sway of 'Strangled Words' along next.

The album then rounds out with 'Some Other Rainbow (Part Two),' a longer guitar addition to its predecessor, it's the most stunning way to bring this new album to a close.
