For those not in the know, Platinum selling recording artist and star of the sand and screen, David Hasselhoff, celebrates a truly historical moment with his monumental new studio album!

Showing a severe discomfort to all of todays politically misdirected, and increasingly harmful to our current generation, media-saturated onscreen and online messages, The Hoff has taken it upon himself to join forces with a truly diverse array of artists to bring out a quite brilliant new album.

Coinciding with the 30th anniversary fall of the Berlin Wall, The Hoff opens the album with the anthemic forcefulness of the title track, 'Open Your Eyes.'

Featuring guitarist, songwriter, record producer and electronics engineer James Williamson from The Stooges, the track embraces not only The Hoff's passion on the subject, but showcases just how comfortable he is knowing his own vocal range.

Covering a wide range of hit songs from such bands as The Lords Of The New Church, David Bowie, Glen Campbell, Echo & The Bunneymen, to Modern English, Whitesnake and even both Neil Diamond and The Archies, it has to be said that The Hoff does all he can do with each track; and does it superbly well.

That said, have obviously worked here with some renowned musicians to not only reconstruct the songs to better suit his range, I have to honestly say that The Hoff has never sounded better.

Also inclusive of a CD bonus track in the form a remix by Clinton Sparks (an award-winning producer whose credits include Lady Gaga, Notorious B.I.G., Pitbull and more), his 1989 chart topping single ‘Looking For Freedom’ (the aforementioned musical rallying cry for a reunited Germany after the fall of the Berlin Wall) deftly showcases an older Hoff whose range has deepened as the years have gone by.

Available on both CD and limited edition RED vinyl, Open Your Eyes not only brings forth a mature singing Hoff, but throws into the mix an Al Jourgensen electro take of Neil Diamond’s ‘Sweet Caroline'! Trust me when I tell you that you have to hear it to truly believe it can work!

The Hoff will launch a massive tour in early October covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland!
