Title - 'Rocking Live Around The Fire Station'
Artist - LenneBrothers Band

The LenneBrothers Band was founded by the brothers Stefan "Teddy" Koch and Michael "Ele" Koch. The two brothers have played rock 'n' roll music for 35 years at nearly 3,000 concerts in 22 different countries.

They even made it into the Guinness Book of World Records for playing the highest rock 'n' roll concert of all time in 2003 (on a 757-300).

Well, for those not in the know, rock 'n' roll fans everywhere have something to look forward to this fall with the release of a new live album from Germany's LenneBrothers Band.

Entitled Rocking Live Around The Fire Station (relasing September 27th, 2019 via AGR Music), it showcases the LenneBrothers Band playing a benefit concert at the Feuerwache (fire station) in Hagen-Hohenlimburg for Reh-Henkhausen’s volunteer fire brigade (earlier this year, February 16th, 2019).

Also joining them were the Bobcats from Britain, and the Sinners from Hamburg, which means that this final 20-track product is one of the most vibrant, fun, and upbeat live albums that I have had the privilege to review in many a year.

2. 'Been There, Done That'
3. 'Lenne Brothers Stroll'
4. 'Wild West Rockabilly Special'
5. 'Old Black Joe'

12. 'Matchbox'
13. 'Call Me the Breeze'
14. 'Boogie Woogie Queen'
15. 'Guitar Slinger'
16. 'No More One More Time'
17. 'High Class Lady'
18. 'Folsom Prison Blues' (Bonus Track)
19. 'Rockin' My Life Away' (Bonus Track)
20. 'Tear It Up' (Bonus Track)

Being a band that I had previously known nothing of, and thus having gotten to know more about them online before making this review, the LenneBrothers Band played The Lenne Rockers' greatest hits (their original incarnation), such as 'High Class Lady' and 'Boogie-Woogie Queen,' as well as many of their own songs, including 'Rocking and Trucking' and 'Picking Berrys.'

Featuring Michael "Ele" Koch (Piano, Banjo, Lead Vocals), Stefan "Teddy" Koch (Guitar, Piano, Vocals), Claus Coxx (Slap Bass, Vocals) and Andreas "Andy" Kässens on Drums and Washboard, Rocking Live Around The Fire Station showcases many styles of music - a mix of Rock ’n’ Roll, Country, Blues, Roots, and even Americana - but never sway too far from their own musical home.

Inclusive of the aforementioned hitlist from their set, the band also include some delightful rockin' cover songs from some legends of the day on this quite pulsating new album.

Furthermore, the track 'Rock Around the Fire Station' was actually written especially for the concert. So, with a total of 17 songs from the concert being included on this new live CD, plus three other live recordings appearing as bonus tracks (that were recorded eight days before at the Country Music Meeting in Berlin), Rocking Live Around The Fire Station is the most complete, uplifting and joyous musical package that you could ever have hoped it to be!
