Title - 'I Love Paris'
Artist - Melbreeze

For those not in the know, Turkish vocalist and visionary Melbreeze’s brand new album, entitled I Love Paris is a beautiful modern album featuring many talented artists.

Produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Scott Kinsey (co-owner of Wishbone Studio and Kinesthetic Music), after years of collaborating with Kinsey, they are finally debuting her first ever co-produced recording.

Each and every song on I Love Paris have been born out of countless jam sessions where they riffed off each other, creating a fertile improvisational foundation.

Therefore, trust me when I say that the album, chock full of standards interpreted in untraditional ways, is a pure delight to discover, from start to finish.

Whether it’s a Turkish children’s game song making an appearance here as 'Sentimental Journey,' or the improvised spoken word, creating a moment of storytelling in the middle of the title track, each song is a titillating reinterpretation of songs you know and love.

1. 'Autumn Leaves'
2. 'I Fall in Love Too Easily'
3. 'Dat Dere'
4. 'Sentimental Journey'
5. 'Don't Explain'
6. 'I Love Paris'
7. 'My Funny Valentine'
8. 'Yesterdays'
9. 'What Lola Wants'
10. 'Killing Me Softly with His Song'

This beautiful odyssey of an album opens with the throaty, late night, underground jazz club vibe of 'Autumn Leaves' and backs that up with her slow dance rendition of 'I Fall in Love Too Easily' before we get the bib-bop vibe of 'Dat Dere' and then the train-imbibed 'Sentimental Journey.'

Next up is the lush refrain of 'Don't Explain' which is followed by the upbeat, stuttering musicality, almost spoken word approach to the title track 'I Love Paris,' and then we get the slinkering kool kat flow of 'My Funny Valentine.'

The album then begins to round out with the deep down yearning of 'Yesterdays,' the upbeat and perky 'What Lola Wants,' coming to a close on her stunning rendition of the Norman Gimbel written, Roberta Flack sung classic 'Killing Me Softly with His Song'
