The 13-track album is a collection of classic standards such as Lush Life, So in Love, and I Thought About You, and features more contemporary songs not typically heard in the jazz genre, like Simply the Best, I Try, and Your Smiling Face.

1. Simply the Best (4:53)
2. My Romance (2:07)
3. Detour Ahead (5:42)
4. I Try (5:21)
5. Stop This World (2:40)
6. Lush Life (5:32)
7. Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams (3:39)

11. I Thought About You (4:01)
12. My One and Only Love (5:49)
13. Being Me (3:40)

This simply divine new album opens on the tantalizing raw Simply the Best and the gently perky bounce of My Romance and backs them up seamlessly with the ornately orchestrated refrains of both Detour Ahead and one of my own personal favorites, the dulcet refrain of Macy Grays I Try, and then we get the frisky Stop This World and the aptly named, and sung, Lush Life.

Up next is the mid-tempo skit-skat jounce of Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams and the laid low, soft shuffle of So in Love, which are in turn followed by the upbeat Your Smiling Face, the simply stunning piano work of White coming to the fore next on Im Afraid the Masquerade is Over, then we get the mid-tempo smooth groove of I Thought About You, the album rounding out on the gratifyingly, sweeping magnificence of both My One and Only Love and Being Me.

Jonathan Karrant was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas and raised in a home filled with music and theatrics. His Mother is an artist and for several years owned a ballet school. While his Father is a business man and hobby farmer.

Growing up Jonathan studied music and performed in several local variety shows, plays, commercials and was guest vocalist with a big band. He studied performance in New York City at the William Esper Performing Arts Academy, and vocal technique with Seth Riggs in Los Angeles.

He also studied privately under the direction of Marilyn Maye and Kurt Elling. His album, On and On hit #4 on the Jazz charts and was released on January 8th, 2013. It features such songs as Dont Let Me Be Lonely Tonight, and Doodlin as well as the title track, and was produced by Tyler Monks, with pianist Josh Nelson, bassist Rob Thorsen, guitarist Mark Shapiro, and drummer Duncan Moore.

A voice, romantic without being cloying, warm but not forced, Jonathan carries songs with an emotional weight that reaches your soul. At the same time he can swing with the kind of jazz suave that was patented by Mel Torme.

All About Jazz Jonathan has received several honors including; the New York City Jazz Cabaret Honors, Best Singer for the Bravo California Awards and was named one of the top 12 rising jazz vocalists by Downbeat.

In his popular single, Lady in Red (written by Chris De Burgh) released on May 11th, 2015, Jonathan truly shines. Backed by pianist Mikan Zlatkovich, bassist Bob Magnusson and drummer Duncan Moore, Karrant sets himself apart from other contemporaries on this single.

Joshua White is one of the music scenes most creative and technically accomplished pianists. Praised by legendary musicians like Herbie Hancock as having immense talent and lauded for his daring and courageous approach to improvisation on the cutting edge of innovation, Joshua has distinguished himself as a formidable leader of distinct voice among his peers.

Shortly after placing in the top two as a finalist of the prestigious Thelonious Monk International Piano Competition, Joshua began performing as a soloist and musical collaborator all over the world.
