Title - Ill Keep It Country
Artist - Cory Keefe
For those unaware, a new generation of balladeers continues to spark the neotraditional movement in country music.
Artists including Cody Johnson, Aaron Watson, and Jon Pardi uphold the roots of country and keep tradition alive.
The movement continues to steam forward with the appearance of Cory Keefe, bursting onto the scene with his brand new debut album Ill Keep It Country (out now via KDM Records).
The Gulf Coast of Florida may well be known as Music Row South. Singers and songwriters have been flocking to the region for years, bringing both traditional and contemporary sounds to clubs and festivals, and influencing a new generation of balladeers.
One new voice is Cory Keefe, guitar picker and gifted singer, unabashedly country in his style and delivery. The self-taught musician was influenced by parents who are also talented singers.
Along with his twin brother, Cory often participated in talent shows and other live music events, with a rising passion for music that continues to drive Corys ambition.

Opening on the gentle honky tonk of Deeper Well and the beautiful hipsway ballad She Calls Me Cowboy, he backs those up with the storytelling of evolution within the title track Ill Keep It Country, the free flowing majesty of Till Now, the twanging troubadour evensong Where Theres A Beer Theres A Way, and then we get the quietly passionate duo Thats Where I Want To Take Our Love and I Just Want You (the latter a duet with country icon Lorrie Morgan).
Next up is a story we can all relate to, Young Man Old which is itself followed by the smooth and easy Damn Strait, a duet with his twin brother Dustin on Brotherly Love, the upbeat Anything, with the album rounding out on the spiritual When I Breathe, closing on the rebel rousing barnstormer Going Home.
When hes not wowing audiences with his country chops, Cory works as an electrician, and enjoys softball, bowling, racing, and basically anything competitive.
Corys goals are not lofty. He is grounded and solid and happy to simply sing, play and inspire audiences as artists before inspired him. Like everyone in the industry, Cory Keefe is eager for the touring world to open back up for live music and touring once again.
