Title - Live At The Wiltern
Artist - Horrorpops

For those unaware, it has been over 12 years since L.A. transplants HorrorPops have released a full-length album and almost as many years since they have performed their delicious blend of 80s new wave, punk, rockabilly, surf and ska on stage.

So it seems especially fitting that the Copenhagen natives, still led by the powerhouse duo of Patricia Day and Kim Nekroman, have marked their return with a spectacular full-length, multi-media concert album that brings all the magic of the bands stage show to your home.

Filmed and recorded in early 2020, Live At The Wiltern features supercharged performances of the bands best-loved tunes including Walk Like A Zombie, Miss Take, Freaks In Uniforms, Where They Wander, Hit N Run, Psychobitches Outta Hell and so much more!

Patricia credits the fans with this shows release: We wouldn’t be here without you is a total cliche, but damn, you made it true and this album is the proof. We might have forgotten we were a band, but you sure as hell did not!

Live At The Wiltern may well be the Horrorpops 9-year long-awaited return to the stage, but it is, without a shadow of a doubt, a quite wondrous flashback to an era when they ruled their domain.

And given the sights and sounds that emanate from this brilliant recording (represented by this stunning 68-minute concert film, filmed in 4K and containing all of their best-loved tracks), their future is pretty damn rosy too!

After a quick intro, the band open with the upright bass rockabilly of Julia and the frenetic Thelma and Louise, and follows those up with the foot-tapping Kool Flattop, the fun pop bounce of Its Been So Long, the mid-tempo psychobilly flow of Hit N Run, the rock n roll of Dotted with hearts, and then we get the vibrant Baby Lou Tattoo and the rock urgency of Freaks in Uniforms.

Next up is the smooth rockabilly of S.O.B. and the surging aura of Undefeated and they are in turn backed by the early No Doubt-esque Missfit, the breathy rocker Everythings Everything, the drum-led, early Adam & The Antz-esque (if they had had a female lead) Psychobitches Outta Hell, the Orange County ska of Girl In A Cage, the fully charged Ghouls, with the live recording rounding out on the melodic hand-clapper Walk Like A Zombie, the rhythmically brilliant Miss Take, closing on the gently fervent, yet mesmerizingly harmonious Where They Wander.

This very special release will be available on June 18th, 2021 in all formats including a superb Blu-ray / DVD / CD combo pack as well as on colored vinyl (gold or silver) or a 180-gram BLACK vinyl.
