Title - ‘Wave On Wave’ (Republic/Universal)
Artist - Pat Green
To say that Pat Green is a completely different artist since making his debut in 1995, albeit true, isn't to say that he's lost his roots or his touch. Wave On Wave no doubt represents the most rock oriented sound we've heard from Green, and arguably presents the strongest music. This album further sets him apart from the huge field of Texas country singers that can usually be found singing about 1) drinking and 2) being from Texas and the joy therein. Green enjoys his most artistic product to date, and if record sales and airplay have any indication, the fans are enjoying it, too.
