Olin & the Moon, originally from Idaho now based in Los Angeles, signed with Blackbird Artists Agency and worked with New West Records. Their just-released 'Footsteps,' featuring a track from Ryan Adams on lead guitar, is truly great and well worth a hearty listen (or two). Collecting together what's now been termed as 'smash bang infusion,' 'Footsteps' - and it's AltCountry strains - waves over us from the off re: 'Say Goodbye.'

With en mass of acoustic guitar leading the way, there is as much a folk vibe as anything else. Incorporating some very catchy choruses, when we hit slide guitar we can all appreciate its charm and musical need.

This is Olin & the Moon's third record - it flows, it ebbs, it lives naturally on CD and within us after listening, please believe me.
