Title - Timescape [2CD]
Artist - Chris Slade Timeline
For those unaware, The Chris Slade Timeline was formed in 2012 with hand picked musicians to celebrate his then 50 year career as a professional rock drummer; since starting with Tom Jones at 16 yrs of age, taking in Manfred Mann, The Firm with Jimmy Page and AC/DC along the way.
The Chris Slade Timeline band have toured the UK and Europe extensively playing hits of this lengthy career and so after being asked many times if they were going to produce any new original songs of their own, Chris finally decided to put pen to paper and do something about it.
And so with the help of his band mates, their brand new album Timescape is out now as a 2CD musical event. Their debut album includes a playlist of 9 original songs and a selection of hits from the many artists he has been privileged to perform with over the last 60 years.

3. JOYBRINGER
4. LIVING THE DREAM
5. FREEDOM SONG
6. BACK WITH A VENGEANCE
7. QUESTIONS

9. END OF ETERNITY
The first CD opens on the rhythmic rocker SUNDANCE and the AOR of WE WILL SURVIVE and then comes the soaring, synth-tastic JOYBRINGER, the mid-tempo ballad LIVING THE DREAM, the melodic FREEDOM SONG, before we are brought forth the forthright BACK WITH A VENGEANCE, the beautiful ballad QUESTIONS, and both the fluctuating guitar fests that adorn both TIME FLIES and END OF ETERNITY.

The second CD opens on their AC/DC cover THE RAZORS EDGE and a quite breathtaking, nine minute long rendition of FREE and they are in turn backed by their pulsating rendition of Manfred Mann’s Earth Band’s BLINDED BY THE LIGHT, a delicately-hued version of Uriah Heep’s JULY MORNING, the second disc closing on four more from his AC/DC era: the brilliantly sculpted, mountainous THUNDERSTRUCK, the foot-pounder BIG GUN, the impassioned AC/DC fan favorite HELLS BELLS, closing on the rambunctious early days of the band on the rhythmically propulsive HIGH VOLTAGE.
