For those unaware, Warhorse was formed last year by Paul Di’Anno and two guitarists/authors, Hrvoje Madiraca and Ante Pupi Pupačić.

Recorded primarily at Pupi studios in Split, Croatia, Warhorse includes nine original songs and two covers, Precious (DEPECHE MODE) and Tequila (THE CHAMPS).

Warhorse previously recorded three songs, two of which — Stop The War and The Doubt Within — were released in May 2022 as a special DVD single along with Paul’s video message to all fans who bought the single and thus helped raise funds for his recent knee operation.

The thunderously emotive new recording opens on the atmospheric, euphorically-charged Warhorse and the gritty rocker Get Get Ready and then brings us the foot-to-the-floor rocker Go, the free-wheeling rock of Stop The War and the screaming guitars that drive The Doubt Within.

Along next is the impassioned, racing car-imbibed Here Comes The Night and their rambunctious cover of The Champs’ Tequila, and they are in turn backed by the power ballad, at first, rocker by night latterly Forever Bound, the album rounding out on a stunning metal-rock cover of Depeche Mode’s Precious, closing on the fist-clenched AOR of Going Home.
