Title - Round 13 [Vinyl LP]
Artist - Krokus

For the very first time on vinyl! Round 13, by 1970s Platinum-selling Swiss hard rock/metal band Krokus is out via Sireena Records and in stores everywhere!

1970s Platinum-selling Swiss hard rock/metal band Krokus successfully broke the US market in the 80’s and forged a path through the live sector there and on continental Europe that has continued one way or another to this day.

In 1999, the band was back in the studio for 13th album, the appropriately-titled Round 13. Welsh vocalist Carl Sentance (ex-Persian Risk, Geezer Butler Band) joined co-founder Fernando von Arb (guitars, keyboards), Chris Lauper (guitars), ex-Killer’s Many Maurer (bass) for Round 13, with ex-Calhoun Conquer drummer Peter Haas returning.

Fernando von Arb recalls: I had wanted to revive the old Krokus but the band had all had babies and wanted to stay at home! So we stopped for a few years and then I went to the UK and found Carl: such a pro, a pleasure to work with. It’s a good album though on reflection I would have chosen a bigger studio: it was tiny!

Krokus sold over 15 million records, toured the world, and received gold and platinum record awards in the USA and Canada. In its 50th year, the band continues to perform live.

Side A:
1. Heya (4:15)
2. Money Back (4:30)
3. Break Free (3:51)
4. Guitar Rules (2:58)
5. Blood Comes Easy (4:49)

Putting the vinyl LP on the record player, dropping the needle, Side A of this brilliantly metallically-rocking-fire album opens on the rhythmically chanted rocker Heya and then we get brought forth the melodious AOR-rock of Money Back, the early AC/DC-esque Break Free, the Zepplin-esque Guitar Rules, the side rounding out on the hardhitting Blood Comes Easy.

Side B:
6. Suck My Guitar (3:54)
7. Gipsy Love (4:43)
8. Witchhunt (3:58)
9. Backstabber (4:14)
10. Wild Times (3:16)

Flipping the record over, along next is the rhythmic rocker Suck My Guitar which is itself backed by the powerful Gipsy Love, the foot-thumper, head banger Witchhunt, the album coming to a close on the foot to the floor, soulfully-grooved metal of Backstabber and the AOR-Pop-Rock of Wild Times.
