The album is a sequel to Jack’s classic 1984 release Out Of The Darkness. Jack, a guitar hero known from bands such as Burning Starr, Guardians Of The Flame, Virgin Steele, Devil Childe, Phantom Lord, Strider and other bands, Jack talks about the new album:

This is the album I always hoped I would make, one that would be filled with power and glory but also melodic and passionate at the same time. This is the sequel to my classic 1984 album Out of the Darkness, and it truly is a worthy successor that I believe will be embraced with the same affection that greeted the original.

This vibrantly rocking new recording, opens on the thunderous Hand of Doom and the rhythmic rocker Endless Night and then we get the metalhead cut Into the Pit, the anthemic Rise Up, the power balladry of Underneath the Velvet Sky, and then comes the propellent Tonight we Ride.

Along next is the melodicous, drum-fed The Night has a Thousand Eyes and the atmospherically-charged Sahara Winds and they are in turn followed by the pop-rocker The Greater Good, the impassioned Soulkeeper, the album now closing out on two bonus tracks: the AOR of Savage at the Gate and the fervent drum play and synth-driven rocker The Lesson.
