This emotively raw, yet rhythmically melodious new recording opens on the free-flowing, rousingly harmonious Back in Spring and then brings us the harmonious Oh Lena (featuring guitarist Joey Landreth) and then comes the low slung, mid-tempo balladry of Already Gone and the playfully impassioned House on Fire.

Then we get one of my own personal favorites from this new collection, the heartfelt and warmly sculpted Borrowed Time which is itself then backed seamlessly by the balladry gossamer of In the Rain, the set rounding out on the melodiously low slung Tell Me Tell Me, coming to a close on the lonesome ode within One Bed and the atmospherically sculpted, piano and acoustic guitar ballad Uncanny Valley

Simply put, this third studio release marks a bold evolution for Quote the Raven - a map not just through darkness, but toward connection, clarity, and creative growth.
