Title - Power!
Artist - Grupo Pagán feat. Edgar Pagán

For those unaware, Sammy Award-winning Grupo Pagán has been performing together for over 20 years. They have shared the stage with world class artists Spyro Gyro, Xtreme, Ismael Miranda, Andy Montanez, Lou Gramm, Joey Molland, Mary Fahl, Bernard Fowler, Stanley Turrentine, Ben Mauro, Mark Doyle, Sofronio Vazque, and Charo to name a few.

The core band includes members, Edgar Pagán (band leader, bass, vocals, guitar, percussion), Rhonda Paduano (vocals, percussion), Bill DiCosimo (keyboards), Jose Varona (drums), David Donley (percussion), Jim O’Mahony (guitar, and Adam Fisher (guitar).

Power is their latest release and was title and produced by 4-time Grammy winner Jimmy Haslip, whose illustrious musical career includes acclaimed work with The Yellowcoats, Jeff Lorber, Chaka Chan, Mike Stern, Robben Ford, George Duke, Bruce Hornsby, Ron Wood, Kiss, Donald Fagen, and many more.

The recording features 10 originals that take you on a journey encompassing funk, blues, jazz and timba flavored World and Latin rhythms and has been inspired by years of personal insights and reflections on life and humanity layered over captivating melodies and upbeat world rhythms.

1. Power
2. Milagros
3. Human
4. Tito (remix)
5. Oye ese ritmo
6. Padrino
7. Sol
8. Only You
9. Peace, Love, and Unity
10. Give to Receive
11. Camila Vida Mia

With the lyrics being inspiring and the music being fun, they open their brand new album on the vibrantly upbeat title track Power and then we get brought forth the veritably shimmering Milagros, the strident Human, the rhythmical guitar hipsway of Tito (remix) and then comes the impassioned Oye ese ritmo.

Along next is the melodious Padrino and the all-embracing notes and tones that form Sol and they are in turn followed neatly by the engaging Only You, the low slung ode of Peace, Love, and Unity, the set rounding out on the soaring, smile-inducing Caribbean-hued beauty of Give to Receive, closing on the mid-tempo pop-rocker Camila Vida Mia.
